Health Spa Healdsburg strives to provide a place where people can relax and take care of themselves in a healthy environment. We're all about healing, and doing everything possible to heal the earth is as important as healing our individual bodies.

Earth Friendly Choices

Cork flooring, which does not produce particulate irritants and does not contain any harmful chemicals, is used throughout the spa. It’s all-natural and does not absorb dust so it does not cause or contribute to allergies. The cork oak tree is not damaged in the process of peeling off its bark, making it a classic renewable natural resource. Earth-friendly tiles are used in the bathrooms.

Water conservation is reflected in the hot towel treatment, showers, toilets and garden management. The spa is painted with Low VOC paint, which means reduced toxins, and is hypo allergenic.

Composting and recycling are part of the daily operation. Organic bulk spa products are used throughout the spa and containers are sterilized and re-used.

All appliances and fixtures are energy-efficient. Environmentally safe cleaning products are used in the spa. Permaculture design is used in the spa landscaping.

Stewardship of the Land

Spa owners Tom and Beryl Ryan believe in stewardship of the land, which includes the spa property, and the planet as a whole. A number of environmentally friendly features have been incorporated into Health Spa Healdsburg.
