We want your visit to Health Spa Healdsburg to be as comfortable and nurturing as possible. To ensure that it is, we have prepared this guide to help answer questions asked by our guests.
It is best not to eat directly before spa treatments but do eat lightly approximately 30 minutes to an hour before. For the very best spa experience, please avoid any stimulants (caffeine, sugar, chocolate), and especially alcohol before your treatment. Make your spa day a light meal day. If your appointment is in the morning, eat a light breakfast. If in the afternoon, have a light lunch that is vegetable based like a salad, soup or steamed vegetables.
Allow time to relax. It is best if you arrive ten or even fifteen minutes early, leaving enough time to check-in and take a comfort break before your treatment. You will be provided with a private room to undress, a locker for your belongings and a robe to wear to your treatment. Our robes fit all and are accommodating for men’s and plus sizes. Late arrivals will receive the remainder of their treatment time whenever possible.
It is recommended you leave anything of sentimental or special value at home, or at your hotel or inn. While we do provide you with a locker, we cannot guarantee the security of your belongings. Furthermore, you don't want to risk damaging your jewelry by exposing it to oils, treated waters, salts, or botanicals, which may react with metals and stones against your skin.
Shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion and hair dryers are available in our shower rooms. Bring your own comb or hairbrush, any styling gel, make-up and anything else you need to make yourself feel presentable after your treatment and shower. Those having a Water Flow massage should bring a bathing suit to change into. Pool towels are provided.
At Health Spa Healdsburg, we rejoice in providing health-giving treatments to bodies of all shapes and sizes. Our massage tables can accommodate everyone from plus size men to petite women and children, and our trained massage therapists are experienced in working on bodies of any size, shape or age. We encourage everyone to give yourself the pleasure of a spa treatment with confidence.
To make this a peaceful and healing environment for all, children and pets may not join you during your treatment. Exceptions are made for service dogs and scheduled baby massage. We also require cell phones to be turned off upon entering the spa.
We accept all major credit cards, Traveler's Checks, personal checks and cash for spa services.
